What’s it about?
Essay Writing is a colourful and engaging course, which was produced exclusively for home-educators. It will probably explain to you everything you need to know to be able to write cracking essays, on any topic. A range of typical essay styles are covered when you look at the course, such as compare and contrast, analyse and explore and argue and discuss, together with loads of practical exercises and tutor feedback that is detailed.
You are going to read about essay presentation, too, and there is even a section about how to write essays for exams. I’ll explain to you just how to write references as well (which can be important if you should be taking place to examine at college) and there are seven tutor marked assignments, together with unlimited phone and email support.
Who is this course for?
An essay is a longer bit of writing and is the conventional written form for a lot of academic subjects. Plus its hard to get through any programme of academic study without having to be asked to create an essay at some point. For you; it should help you to write an essay on virtually any subject from GCSE level right up to your first year in Further or Higher Education if you have always wanted to know how to write a good essay, this course is.
It is worth pointing out, however, before you do the IGCSE English Language or Literature courses that you do not need to do the Essay writing course. Those courses include practice and instruction in the writing styles and formats for all those subjects (which are not always essays, funnily enough). Though the Essay Writing course will strengthen your skills in analysis, planning and writing of essays and also this may have a knock-on influence on the manner in which you think and write in other areas of life. Most students who take the course say they feel a lot more confident about writing as a whole.
As with every my courses for older students it is possible to choose to use the course as downloadable pdf files or via a printed book. There are 7 chapters ninjaessays prices covering every aspect of essay writing and 7 tutor marked assignments to assist you practise your skills. As with every my courses there was unlimited (within reason!) email and phone support.
How long does the program take?
It varies. Most students take around 8 months you could quickly do it more and take more time if you want (there is no time period limit on any of my courses).
What pace can I go at?
It’s important to go at your personal pace – you really need ton’t feel you will be rushing the course, but nor should it is gathering dust regarding the shelf. You should be feeling comfortably challenged but enjoying yourself (when it comes to part that is most!).
What if I get stuck?
Pick up the phone or email me – i will be here to greatly help! when you yourself have a block about a specific assignment it is almost always better to move on with the course and get back to it later.
Could I type my assignments?
You have dyslexia or some other special requirement), I prefer assignments to be handwritten unless you are likely to get dispensation to type in an eventual exam (so. We could all type more quickly than we can write so typing assignments gives an unrealistic expectation of what you will eventually produce within the exam. I understand the Essay Writing is not an exam course, but handwriting is a motor skill you get so it’s important to practise at every opportunity! There are exceptions, though, so make contact with me if you should be unsure.
Think about special requirements that are educational?
A very important thing to complete is pick the phone up and speak with me and let me know what you need. Through the years I have helped students with a range of special requirements resulting from dyslexia, Aspergers as well as other physical or mental conditions that get in the way of their capacity to do justice to themselves in English. I can’t promise that I’ll be able to help, but if I will help, i am going to.
